Resumo: Portugal, Itália, França e Turquia são os quatro países que trabalham em conjunto, neste intercâmbio que tem por palco a Izmir, na Turquia. Juntos, 16 jovens irão desenvolver as suas capacidades por forma a conhecerem-se melhor e acooperam melhor na sua troca de ideias, experiências e tarefas propostas pela organização.
Os valores da multiculturalidade e da cidadania europeia estão no âmago deste intercâmbio que promove ainda o respeito pela natureza e um turismo rural e alternativo longe das cidades.
Objectivos: The Objectives of the Project:
- To raise awaraness about alternative tourism,new service techniques in tourism
- To promote farm vacation and rural tourism
- To spend holiday away from city life and stress,learn more about healthy habits of eating and bring up healthier generation
- To promote consciousness for natural resources and their potantials in tourism
- To increase motivation to protect nature for tourism and health as tourism is growing
- To learn the importance of protection nature and cultural heritages through tourism
- To learn how local people can reflect local identity through tourism
- To experience new ways of lives and different culture during staying in local pensions local people run
- To learn more about the tourism profile i n partner countries via exchanging e-mails,discussion,etc.
- To discuss dis / advantages of old and new ways of tourism
- To improve the quality of communication with people from different countries, learn different cultures and respect differences
- To improve IT using modern technology,language skills and create motivation to learn more new foreign languages
- To feel confident enough to express yourself and join planned project tasks in an international partnership
- To improve cooperation and team work with people from different countries
Alojamento: There is the possibility to spend 2 nights or 3 in tents on a farm and experience farm life. Then tha accomodation will be in local pensions to learn more about the way of local life.
Descrição: In this project Portugal, Italy, France and Turkey will work together. The total number of the young people involved in the project will be 16 and they will be aged between 15-25. The young people will incorporate as many skills as possible to get to know each other, cooperate to achieve the multilevelled planned tasks, chat with their peers to exchange ideas, share experiences, broaden their horizons, raise awareness about the new ways of tourism, local development through tourism, healthy ways of eating habits and outdoor sports activities in nature.
Culture clash between young people coming from different countries and cultures throughout the project will be an ideal method of teaching European values such as having tolerance for differences, respecting different values, avoiding prejudices and racism, strengthening solidarity between European young people while the partners are exploring different lifestyles and representing their own countries. Arranging an international cultural night will enable the participants to have an idea about the traditional costumes, local dances and music of the participant countries as well as the traditional cuisine of the coordinator partner. While they are experiencing farm life by planting flowers or plants,watering them,picking up fruits,and eggs as an alternative tourism ,the young people will promote the importance of caring nature, healthy eating habits,bringing up healthier generation, rural tourism for local development and doing sports in nature. The young people will also create their own works using the materials available in nature, draw pictures of inanimate nature,take photographs,make video recordings and try to make cheese,weave carpet or kilim, etc...if possible. The participants will broaden their horizans about the potantials of nature and rural areas and rising wealth of local people when they learn the new ways of lives. The project also shows us how farms and lands in rural area can be used for different new services in tourism such as campgrounds, farm vacation, etc. Arranging regional tours to the historical places and touristic sites will increase an understanding why people should protect nature ,historical and cultural heritages while tourism is growing and how the people in rural area improve local development. Seminars and multimedia presentations with the local municipality,giving writings to the local and regional newspapers,an exhibition of photographs for the local people, questionaire with the local people in the area, flyers about the project will raise awareness and increase interest in local communities. They will also create an internet site available for everyone related to the project and put their digital photo album to exhibit their works throughout the project. Logos, T-shirts, caps, flyers and diplomas will be prepared for the project. And making research and discussions will make the youngsters very active and sharpen their analytical way of mind. The young people involved in the project will have a chance to practice and improve their foreign languages in real life. New ways of lives will be learned via local traditional weddings ceremonies, concerts and local festival during our stay.Thanks to the project the youngsters will also improve the necessary communication skills which are essential to be successful both in private and business life.
