Resumo: we´re using non-formal-education methodologies during both mobilities to address the following main aspects:
- The concept city
During the first mobility to take place in Italy, we will have the opportunity to introduce and discuss the concept of city and sustainability by exploring the phenomenon of Doughnut City and other new innovative theories on accessibility and inclusiveness of urban spaces. Through the comparison between the young participants and the experience of the urban context of Turin, we will become acquainted with the problematic aspects of a city and reflect on the possible alternatives from which to start to be able to act on our context.
- Thematic areas
In our daily experience of our cities and the quality of the spaces they offer us, we have observed how they are no longer able to offer citizens and equitable and sustainable well-being. The constant exploitation of environment resources, the excessive production of waste and the limiting management of urban spaces are just of the causes identified and which we will eventually have the opportunity to integrate with others during mobility. The activities that will take place during the first exchange will therefore be dedicated todelving into a different thematic area each day between analysis, reflections and positive examples.
- Analysis, storytelling through art and active proposal
During the seconf mobility, on the other hand, participants will focus on training in the skills of conceiving, designing and implementing public proposals on the issues explored already in the first mobility.
Following this module, the group will be able to experiment with building real projects or public policy proposals at both the level of writing and graphic storytelling of the output. The results can be an opportunity for participants to continue to engage with the issues discovered and raise awareness in their home communities.
Objectivos: The project aims to re-establish a healthy balance between the well-being of citizens and the avalable environmental resources, providing the participating group with the necessary skills and knowledge at first, and then being able to build proposals and share best practices with local institutions and the community to which they belong.
- Build a positive international experience in which participants can feel free to express themselves and their needs in a space of comfort and listening;
- provide participants with the analytical tools necessary for a more critical and aware approach to the concept of the city;
- replect with participants on what are the critical and positive aspects of their cities and what they can active do;
- produce a final output that allows participants to experience forms of active citizenship and political participantion from below;
-make known spaces and positive experiences of ralities committed to social and environmental sustainability within their contexts;
- increase participants´educational background on the conception, formulation and design of active proposals and policies starting from the emergence and identification of their needs;
- make young people active in the process of change starting with their peers, families and communities.
