Objectivos: - Promote Inclusivity: Foster an inclusive space where LGBTQ+ youth feel respected, accepted, and valued. Encourage participants to embrace diversity and appreciate different perspectives.
- Raise Awareness: Increase awareness and understanding of LGBTQ+ issues, including discrimination, stigmatization, and the unique struggles
faced by LGBTQ+ individuals. Promote empathy and compassion among participants. - Encourage Dialogue: Facilitate open and constructive dialogue on LGBTQ+ topics. Create opportunities for participants to share their experiences, challenges, and insights, fostering a culture of mutual understanding and support.
- Combat Stereotypes: Challenge and break down stereotypes related to sexual orientation and gender identity. Encourage critical thinking and the questioning of preconceived notions, fostering a more inclusive mindset.
- Build Allies: Equip participants with the knowledge and skills to become effective allies for the LGBTQ+ community. Empower them to actively contribute to creating a more inclusive society upon their return.
- Advocate for Human Rights: Instill a sense of responsibility among participants to advocate for the human rights of LGBTQ+ individuals. Encourage them to be agents of positive change within their communities.
- Provide Resources: Connect participants with resources and organizations that support LGBTQ+ individuals. Equip them with tools and information to address challenges faced by the community both during and after the exchange program.
- Skill Development: Offer workshops and activities that enhance participants' communication skills, leadership abilities, and conflict resolution skills. Empower them to be advocates for LGBTQ+ issues in various contexts.
Techniques and methods that will be used will be interactive, provocative for participants, causing them to think about things and opportunities they have. These methods include various games to maintain the group’s dynamics, energizers to fully engage participants in the activities, visual materials, educational videos, presentations, printed aids, role-playing games, simulations, case studies, sessions with Frequently asked questions, activities in small groups and in a larger group, interactive presentations and so on.
The main activities planned for the YE are:

• Creative activities to acquire new knowledge
and skills
Non-formal learning methods and informal activities will be used during the exchange and the workshops.
Alojamento: The hosting place is Hotel Trakia in Pazardjik, Bulgaria HOTEL TRAKIA - www.trakia-hotel.com.bg
which is a hotel that hosts tourists and some guests of the city. The rooms will be for 2 people.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served in the same structure.
Perfil: - Age between 18-30;
- Young unemployed people;
- Youth workers, NGO activists, volunteers;
- Ready to take part and fully engage in the whole Youth Exchange;
- Have organizational support for further activities within ERASMUS+;
- Able to communicate in English language.
Descrição: Planned activities in the Youth Exchange YOU CAN BE PRIDE will be held between 1.03.2024 and 10.03.2023 in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria. Within 9 working days, 40 participants coming from 8
countries (Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, France, Romania, Portugal, Czech Republic, Turkey) will be invited to take part in various informal activities and through them to learn more about different environmental issues, as well as different attitudes, social and institutional responsibilities in European countries on key environmental issues such as recycling or alternative energies.
Participants will not only take part in discussions or workshops, they will also have a chance to improve their skills and creativity to create new art techniques thanks to creative recycling: participants will have the opportunity to learn more about different types of waste and gain basic skills for turning plastic bottles into works of art. At the end of the project, participants will be able to connect ecology, recycling and creativity and share their new knowledge through environmental exhibition in the local communities in their own countries.

Material Necessário: Here is a list of important things that you should bring with yourself on the YE module:
• Travel tickets: We can only refund your travelling costs, if you have the tickets, receipts of the trip, invoices.
• Medicines: for preventive reasons we recommend for those who have health problems to bring their own medicine.
• Some traditional snacks, drinks or food: In order to learn as much as possible from each other’s culture, we will organize an intercultural evening, where you are supposed to share some of your local specialties with the other participants.
• Representative materials of your sending organization: (brochures, CD’s, etc.) and also photos from your local community.
