Resumo: Study Visit will take place in a small fishing place on the sea, called Rabac. Today, this place is a well known touristic destination with lot of amazing beaches, hiking and bicycles routes.
Close to Rabac, there is a medieval town of Labin that is situated on the hill and offers a lot of bars, restaurants, art ateliers, cultural sights and even a museum with a replica of the coalmine. We will visit this amazing place too. Alfa Albona office is situated in the old town. :)
We will be happy to show you our town, but as a part of the programme we will aslo visit the town of Pula and Pazin.
DATE: 26.05. - 02.06.2023. (arrival: meeting point at 18:00 o'clock in Labin bus station where the transport will
be provided to the hotel in Rabac, departure: early morning on 02.06.2023. and the transport will be provided to the Labin bus station)
Objectivos: - To learn about the reality of youth work in Croatia, Istrian region;
- To support understanding of youth work realities of participating countries;
- To improve working methods of organizations with youth from different backgrounds;
- To learn about youth work in towns and rural area and compare them;
- To foster partnership building between organizations included;
- To explore the added value of the European dimension of youth initiatives;
- To facilitate the acquisition by participants of communication, teamwork and project management skills of international activities and networking; To understand the impact and social change a youth center can have within the local community;
- To increase the strategic thinking of youth workers in order to create long-term interventions for personal and professional development of young people.
Alojamento: Miramar Sunny Hotel by Valamar is located on the St. Andrija peninsula, only 21 m from a beach and 701 m from
center of Rabac. Featuring an outdoor pool and tennis courts, it offers air-conditioned accommodations units with a balcony. Free WiFi is provided in the entire hotel.
All rooms and studios provide a TV with satellite channels. Each unit has a private bathroom with a hairdryer and a bathtub or a shower.
The property is surrounded by rocky and pebbly beaches, various water sports facilities, with natural shade of the pine forest. Participants will be situated in 4 beds shared rooms by gender.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be buffet in the restaurant of the hotel, and you may choose any food according to your preferences.
Breakfast is from 07:00 till 09:00 o'clock, lunch time from
12:00 - 13:00 o'clock and they both include free non alchocol drinks.
Dinner time is from 19:00 till 21:00 o'clock and non alchocol drinks are not provided - only water.
We will provide you also space to enjoy your free time and relax, go sightseeing, walking or else according to your preferences. As the sea is close you can go swimming, or even enjoy the outdoor hotel pool.
There is free WiFi and free parking available as well.
Please notice that all the rooms are no smoking and to respect the quiet time during the night in the hotel.

Descrição: Youth work has very different forms in different European environments. It has different contexts, political support,
aims, goals and traditions. However, youth work is one of the most dynamic sectors especially compared to
educational system, family policies or labour legislation. We want to carry out this project, because we feel that
youth organisations from different countries need to meet each other, to share experiences, working methods and to
show best practices in order to develop youth work in Europe.
