Resumo: We are interested in the migrant’s situation in Austria, France, Greece and Portugal. Indeed, the politics of these countries are divergent on the migrant question, it's a complex topical subject in Europe and a major issues for the Erasmus program. The main goal of the exchange is to break stereotype about migrants and to find ways to better live together, through the vision of the different countries and participants.

The objective of the project is to foster the acquisition and/or the reinforcement of the young people’s skills:
• Social and civic: this youth exchange aims at promoting active citizenship among young European people, in a European election context.
• Cultural awareness: the participants will meet and live with young people from other European countries, they will discover new cultures and share their own.
• Communication in foreign languages: English will be the language of communication during the whole exchange. A linguistic animation will be carried-out to raise awareness among participants to languages different from their own (Greek, French, German and Portuguese).
• Communication in the mother tongue: The linguistic animation will also allow participants to teach a little of their mother tongue to others

We will discuss different questions during the activities:
• Who are the migrants, what are the status differences (immigrant, foreigner, refugee…) according to the European legislation?
• What are the migration policies and the migrants living conditions in the 4 participating countries?
• Can Europe welcome all the migrants?
To answer the final question « How to better live together? », participants will discuss good and bad existing practices and will propose solutions to the different issues raised.

A video will be produced during the exchange, and shared after to implement the project.
