BEFORE THE MEETING IN KATOWICE
Each team is obliged to prepare:
WITHOUT THIS ELEMENTS THE ORGANIZING TEAM CANNOT DO THE TRANSFER FOR ANY ADDITIONAL TRAVEL COSTS.
- short survey about wellbeing of youth and satisfaction of life in each of our countries (each national team have to fill 40 surveys),
- short film inspired by movie "Talking Heads" of Krzysztof Kieślowski (link to the film with English subtitles will be posted on the Facebook group) /one team should record five people,
- short presentation of each participant (name, interests, expectations about the project etc.) and post ot on our Facebook group,
- the slideshow "Your best trip ever" (max. 5 photos per person). Each participant will be introducing their photos.
Objectivos: Participants need to collect few filled surveys (around 40 as the whole national team), so they need to find respondents for example from their friends. They can also add additional questions. They need to be able to present the results to the whole group of participants during the exchange. As I remember is on the second or third day, so they can finish it even during the free time on the exchange.
Alojamento: The location of the hostel and additional practical info will be added to our Facebook page, so it is important to collect all participants, give some information about their to the organizators and add them to the Facebook group.
In Poland the organizator is providing: accommodation, transport (using public transport) between Katowice and Wisła, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee breaks).
FIrst night we'll be accommodated in Katowice as participants will be coming to Poland from early morning to the late evening. The next day we'll travel to Wisła. On day 7 we are coming back to Katowice. The travels back will be
scheduled on the day 9 (evening) or 01/10/2018 in the morning.
Participants need to bring their sleeping bags and small pillows to the mountain house in Zwardoń (we’ll have one or two additional). There are only blankets available (if needed);
Our organisation is buying the flight tickets. Participants will be reimbursed only for the tickets from their home to the airport (as other tickets will be organised by us).
Descrição: DURING THE MEETING IN KATOWICE
The organizing team will prepare variety of workshops, such as: meetings with psychologist, study visits, outdoor games. Each team will be encouraged to prepare one workshop and cultural evening (the schedule will be posted and discussed on Facebook group and/or by Skype).
Our material outcomes will be:
- the RPG board game,
- outdoor event connected to the social media campaign,
- everything we will prepare before the meeting.
If any of the participant want to stay in Poland for a few more days after the project (it's possible, but this days should be fully covered by money of the participants), she/he should contact the organizators as fast as possible, before buying the tickets.
The cost that participants have is to buy the tickets to the airport and from the airport (not needed if travelling by bus). This tickets will be refunded, but only if the team will complete the tasks mentioned before.
All the participants should have the valid travel insurance. The cost of the insurance is not refundable, it is the only cost that participants should cover by their own. The organizators ARE NOT COLLECTING ANY FEE for taking
part in the exchange.
Material Necessário: - we will be divided into the task groups. Each group will have the tasks, so one day each group will be preparing food, one will be responsible for cleaning etc. Each task will have the „task leader”, so one of polish participant, who will be coordinating the task and explaining everything;
- in the mountain house we will have fridge and quite well equipped kitchen (basic stuff, if you will have any specific questions I will be in the house one weekend before our meeting, so I can check everything you want), so you can take food for cultural evening;
- probably we will be doing cultural evenings starting from dinner or bonfire (we’ll check the possibility of the bonfire the weekend before our meeting), so if you want to prepare something traditional that you are eating during bonfire or you want to prepare traditional dinner - you can do that. If you will need some basic ingredients (not specific for your country, but available everywhere), we can buy them, you have just let us know about them few days before the exchange. Please be aware, that there could be some vegetarians (I know that at least there will be some in polish team), if you want all participants to taste your food (obviously we will prepare also some other things to grab as a dinner);
- There is no wifi in the mountain house, however we’ll try to find some solution. As the coverage is quite well, for the workshops (cultural evenings, presentations) we can use the mobile internet from my or other polish participants’ phones, but this cannot be use for checking social media or sth, because each has some limits ;)
- we planned some mountain trip and as one of our accommodations in in the mountains, please bring comfortable clothes and SHOES (preferably mountain shoes or good sport ones). Also, the weather in the mountains can change very frequent, so please take something warm, something waterproof and sunscreen. Of course I will share with you the forecast few days before the meeting, but please be prepared for each kind of weather. So far our summer is looking very unexpectedly (hot all the time), so I’ll keep informing you;
- if you want to run some workshops/you want to add something to the schedule and prepare it for us, it’s obviously possible and welcomed, just please let me know.
