Resumo: “SelfiE yoUrself!” project will be the 7th large youth exchange project in Kémes. The project will help to find what is that participants wants to create, offering practical knowledge and business ideas. Perhaps life is about to finding the vision of yourself and then create it. The project also focusing on responsible usage of social media and networking. The topic of 2016 summer camp is:solidarity and social inclusion in Europe, migration crisis, self-sufficient lifestyle, cultural and creative self employment, intercultural dialog and common European heritage.
Three different workshops will be organized connected to our topics with help of skilled experts:
1. Social awareness short films, create scenario, shoot and edit social awareness short films, share on different social media channels
2. Traditional professions, learn and practice how to build outdoor mud oven and repairing old mud houses in the village, how to carve by hand a wooden bowls, how to create rag rugs from recycled materials with traditional weaving machine
3. Graphic design, unusual combination of modern technologies from 21h century with tradition motives to achieve a distinctive look for different objects (t-shirts, notebooks, bags, clothes, furnitures, etc.), to give a new dimension for European heritage
Participants are going to live in a camp, commute by bike and explore rural lifestyle. In between we are going to focus on current topics of EU, discuss the situation of migrant crisis, solidarity and social inclusion in Europe.
Alojamento: - Accommodation is in big military tents in bunk beds.
- Women/men toilets and showers are available in containers.
- Outside shower is available too.
- You can bring your tent and/or sleeping bag if you prefer!
- Washing machine is available at the camp!
