Resumo: The project fosters young European citizen because they are aware of their status as European citizens, able to assume responsibility for others more or less integrated, becomes open for acceptance and active involvement. By nature of its activities, young people can understand their role in Europe's present and future, understand the importance of taking measures to involve youth of the Roma in society. As a result of activities undertaken through this project, young people will realize their role in producing a result, will eliminate the differences and prejudices, will give proof of acceptance and spirit of initiative, will get almost to the values of European citizenship.
The project reflects a concern for Europe, fighting poverty and social exclusion. Young Roma from Romania, select a category in this project are socially excluded, discriminated against and who live in an excessive poverty. Young Roma from other European countries will be able to share experiences and aspects of their way of life, how they feel integrated into their societies. It can thus provide examples of best practices, or may improve the integration of the attitudes of young categ.
Discrimination is a constant in European society, European citizens while giving the signs to eliminate anti-social phenomenon. Our project, carries out some activities which urged observation and perception of discrimination of Roma, and deepening analyze the effects of this scourge, the idea of cultivating certain attitudes and feelings in November, the European values.

Objectivos: - effective communication in a European context

The project proposed for funding aims to develop solidarity and tolerance among young people, two lines of action. First, participants are young people from several European countries, each with its national characteristics, to facilitate mutual understanding, and secondly, in the project are included young Roma from different countries to enhance interaction with them, to foster understanding and to eliminate social discrimination in this category. In this way, we hope to contribute to strengthening social cohesion in the European space and improve relationships.

Descrição: Training activities:
1. Delegation of responsibilities of partner organizations
a. Selection of participants - each developer will have to select participants for this project according to requirements specified by the coordinator. So, they will be considered to be formed so that the group of young Roma and young people who have the nationality of their country. It will take into account age and gender criteria for participants, they must select youth considering gender in order to ensure equality of opportunity. Also, one of the young group should know how to give first aid.
b. Establish group leaders - each promoter identified one group leader, instructing them on their respective responsibilities in this position.
2. Visit preparation
a. Organization - is looking for the right location for development, to discuss and determine logistical issues, is looking for and provides information on the transport group leaders in the host country
b. ongoing - visit is the actual preparation of project activities. Group leaders meet and determine the measures necessary for the proper conduct of the project.
3. Project Publicity
a. Promotion - are preparing advertising materials, namely to establish the content / advertising material, edit, print to be distributed;
b. blic awareness - to contact local newspapers and TV stations for initial promotion and to establish contacts in order to achieve visibility and dissemination of project activities.
4. Use of materials for project and program visibility - logo design project, project title and logo with TIA program will be posted on all information and promotional materials, find a motto for the project.

Development activities:

Introduction to the program:
During the first activity participants will receive more information about the schedule for the next few days.

Knowing each other - Ice Breaking Exercises
It is necessary that participants feel safe, so we made ice-breakeing exercises so that they can easily get to know his name, to learn about each other's interests, experience, etc..

Workshop
Participants manually create an element of cultural identity, which then background music on it cos many a bag. Each participant, through the presentation provides feedback to others. The search then antidiscriminatoriu message, which was then sew it on the same bag. The method used to find the message is brainstorming.

Gypsy Rituals
Each group of participants from partner countries interpret artistic gypsy rituals of their country.

Photo visit + voice culture and observation of the Roma community
Participants will spend a day in the city of Targu-Jiu (located 30 km from Bilteni) to explore the cultural value. So visit the Brancusi Cultural Ensemble (Table of Silence, Gate of Kiss, Endless Column), the center of town, fine arts museum. The visit will extend the Roma community in the district of the city Meteor. During that visit will receive the task to capture the different photographic situations, situations that send messages of discrimination. At the end of the day, photos taken will be discussed / debated by all participants.

Activity group
Stereotypes and prejudices
The young participants who are not Roma, which reflects the prejudices against Roma and they have made a list of stereotypes. All this will be counter by the young Roma.
Gypsy Crafts
The young participants learn from members of the Roma community in various crafts Gypsy Balteni Com. There's then a practical activity, group, which in turn makes young objects.

Traditional costumes
All youth participants will have to have traditional costumes. Each group of partner countries will be formed and the young Roma. Young people in a group will have to exchange their traditional costumes and present them to other participants.

Caravan - role play
The young participants will go through the town of Rovinari (at 5 km from Com Balteni), dressed in gypsy costumes, singing songs with Gypsy specific. Will be invited to join this young campers will meet on the street.

Exhibition
The exhibition will be done in a public place (in downtown Targu-Jiu) and will be composed of crafts made by young people with messages of discrimination shots, shots with glimpses of life in communities in the partner countries gypsy, gypsy music authentic. This will include a stand with information material TIA, and youth passes will be able to provide information about financing this program offered by the European Commission.

Living Library
Young people dressed in traditional clothing talking to all who are interested in discovering the different cultural aspects. All work will be done in Targu-Jiu, in a public place in universities, as more young people have the opportunity to discuss the project with young people.




Gypsy Party
The party is meant to simulate the gypsy style of entertainment. So that young people will eat pot will fiddler music, sing songs, Gypsy, Gypsy will cook, learn to guess, to charm, will hear different stories.- we will have activities in Targu Jiu ( which is a medium town in Romania, not very big, it is know international by the great sculptor Constantin Brancusi http://www.cecis.ro/locatie/, here you can see a presentation of the town, and also www.cecis.ro is our organization website, there you can see project we had or what we do. - we will have activities also in another town called Rovinari, it is known as an industrial town, and also the region Bilteni where we will meet with Roma from there.

- participants will stay in a campus school ( according to the details we have from the project there will be 44 participants, so we tried to find a place less expensive but comfortable for all of you).

- there are 2 floors: one for girls and one for boys.

- the bathroom is shared ( but there is a bathroom for each floor ), it is clean and you have hot water to wash.

- you have in the campus internet connection, access to sport ground ( you can play volley, basket, football if you wish of course )

- in the school cafeteria you will get breakfast, lunch and dinner
