Resumo: Citizenship can be fun! will host 32 young people from 8 EU countries in July 2013 for an 8-day long youth exchange in Székesfehérvár, Hungary.
he exchange raises the question: how can we, the citizens foster the creation of a long-term happy and sustainable European society? During the exchange participants will focus on the four founding concepts of Gross National Happiness: cultural values, good governance, natural environment and sustainable development. Each concept gives a day a topic, when we work with it and take a look on how citizens can foster it. Also, we find a way to take action for each in the local context and practise to be active citizens. The exchange will be composed of BOCS Foundations interactive global education activities, simulation games, field volunteering combined with loads of space for creativity and self-expression when we build on the input of participants and group leaders and enjoy the benefits of the different points of views and backgrounds of the mixed intercultural group.
Perfil: Each partner country have to send 4 participants (18-25 aged) + 1 group leader (without age limit).
