Resumo: FORMAÇÃO!

The use of arts to explore environmental issues that young people can get involved in, in their communities and include other members of their communities.

Key Activities:
Exploration of the environment in and around Bar
Environmental awareness inputs and activities
Eko project visit
Creating eko arts installations

Objectivos: Exploring how art can be used for creating a more inclusive society:
- Exploring cultural issues and values through environmental activities:
Developing own environmental awareness:
- Find ways of engaging my own community in greater environmental awareness:
- Using the actual environment (urban or rural) for creating art and environmental actions in my community

Perfil: Podem participar nesta formação pessoas com idade superior a 18 anos, não havendo limite de idade.

Descrição: Responsibilities and what is Going to Happen:

- Participants must research key environmental issues in their own communities
- Each partner organisation will share their work and pre-researched issues during the TC
- Share each other’s skills and competencies related to art and or the Environment
- The specific issues will be decided and developed by the participants throughout the activity
- Undertake a small social research of Bar to discover what the local community thinks
- Create and prepare arts projects highlighting environmental issues in Bar
- The pieces of art or concept will be displayed throughout the city
- Accompanying each piece of art will be publicity information regarding YiA, Svetionik and participants, as well as relevant environmental information
- Flyers & posters will be designed and created during the TC relevant to the overall project and each specific piece of art and environmental issue
- The participants will send releases to the press and media at different stages of the week to keep the public updated and promote the activities
- Social media will be used by the participants in the form of a blog, Facebook and twitter to update the progress throughout the week

The compilation of photos, testimonies from the participants and the story of the project will be produced as a small publication that will highlight the environmental issues raised, researched and promoted. It will also highlight development of the young people involved, their personal journeys and give them space to express how they have grown from this experience. It will be in hard copy and electronic version.
The results will be immediately disseminated in the local press and media even before the end of the project. This will be followed up with concrete conclusions documenting the local impact and impressions from the participants – this will be within two weeks of the end of the project and will include quotes from the participants.

Material Necessário: - Warm clothes – Montenegro can still be cold and wet in March and we will work outside a lot!
- Research of enviorment issues from your own community

- Environmental foods/objects for an Eko Intercultural Evening
