Resumo: “Storytelling around YOUth” aims to increase youngsters’ cultural and intercultural awareness through strorytelling using IT means. The participants will be involved both in creating and telling stories using technological devices.
We aim for the gathering of 4 different national groups of youngsters aged between 15 and 18 years old in Romania, Timis country from 27 of July until the 3rd of August 2013.
The activities included in the project will take place in a youth camp in the countryside not far from Timisoara city. These will allow youngsters to experience a wide variety of non-formal methods of education such as:
• Creative Writing – to help develop self-expression and create stories
• Storytelling- to increase self-confidence and prepare for the end performance
• World Café – to foster intercultural dialogue
• And many other energizers and exercises that are focused on imagination
Perfil: 2 girls and 2 boys. 3 of them in between 15-17 years old and one 18 years old
The leader should be a boy.

Alongside non-formal methods of education they will also learn digital skills which will help them create images for their stories, thus work together for the end product of the project- a story booklet to be disseminated in all countries involved.
The learning process of the project includes several stages:
• Input workshops on : Storytelling and Voice projection, Creating characters and stories; using digital devices to illustrate stories
• Interactive Workshops on all of the above in international groups.
• Organizing a Storytelling performance for pupils coming from schools from Timisoara followed by a World Café to share intercultural experiences.
