Resumo: The project “The good fairy and the plastic dragon” will be held in city Struga and together with 56 participants and leaders from Croatia, Denmark, Serbia, Poland, Portugal and Macedonia.
Within eight days exchange the participants will encourage to take part in different nonformal activities and through them to get to know more about different ecological issues as well as about different attitudes of European countries to the main ecological problems as recycling, or looking for alternative sources of energy and the global environmental challenges. The participants will not just take part in discussion or in workshops. They will have and a chance improve their creative skills and together create new art through creative recycling techniques. Besides the ecological workshops and creative recycling activities the participants will have an opportunity to learn about photography and to get to know basic photographic skills, because photography is not just the way how to document the process of change plastic bottles to art piece, but it is also way how to document the life on our Planet, the life which needs to be protect. At the end of the project the participants will have an opportunity to connect ecology, creativity and photography and share their new knowledge through ecological exhibition with local communities of their countries.
Objectivos: This project will promote active citizenship of young people and will raise the topic of youth participation. The participants will have a chance to work in intercultural environment. Therefore, they will be able to develop social skills and better understand the cultural differences and will develop tolerance and solidarity. Working in multicultural town and in so multicultural and multilingual group will surely contribute to mutual understanding among young people from different countries.
Alojamento: The Hotel is located in Struga on the shore of Ohrid Lake, in ideal natural surroundings of rear trees.

-18 rooms with three beds

-A specific characteristic is that each room has a view of the lake.

highest standards for sport activities, business meetings,
seminars, conferences, congresses etc.
For this purpose hotel has big congress hall air-conditioned
with 80 seats ,and small-sized hall with 30seats.Conference
halls are equipped with latest technologic{LCD, flipcharts,
wireless Internet}

Each room has TV set with satellite program, shower, telephone and

We will be accommodated in 3 bed rooms.
Perfil: Each group should have gender balance of participants. This is very important for us. The age of participants should be from 18-26 years and only with our permission you can have participants out of this age group. The leaders do not have age limit.

Descrição: Ohrid is a city on the eastern shore of Lake Ohrid in the Republic of Macedonia. It has about 52,000 inhabitants, making it the seventh largest city in the country. The city is the seat of Ohrid
Municipality. Ohrid is notable for having once had 365 churches, one for each day of the year and has been referred to as a "Jerusalem. The city is rich in picturesque houses and
monuments, and tourism is predominant. It is located southwest of
Skopje, west of Resen and Bitola, close to the border with Albania. In 1979 and in 1980, Ohrid and Lake Ohrid were accepted as a Cultural and Natural World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. In fact, Ohrid is one of only 28 sites that are part of UNESCO's World
Heritage that are both Cultural and Natural sites.
Struga is a town and popular tourist destination situated
in the south-western region of the Republic of Macedonia, lying on
the shore of Lake Ohrid. The town of Struga is the seat
of Struga Municipality.Struga is also a place of important cultural significance in the Republic of Macedonia, as it is the birthplace of the poets Konstantin and Dimitar Miladinov. The main event of the cultural life in Struga is the world's largest poetry gathering, Struga Poetry Evenings, whose laureates have included several Nobel Prize for Literature winners such as Joseph Brodsky, Eugenio Montale, Pablo Neruda, Seamus Heaney, Fazıl Hüsnü Dağlarca and many others since 1966. There are several cultural monuments in Struga and in its vicinity such as the Monastery of Kališta, a few kilometers away from the town center, lying on the shore of Lake Ohrid. It is believed that it dates from the 16th century, with frescoes from the 14th and the 15th centuries. Another rock church is present in the neighbouring village of Radožda with frescoes from the 13th and 14th centuries. The Church Sveta Bogorodica (St. Mary) in the village of Vraništa, is believed to be the one where Tsar Samuel was crowned.
