Resumo: Deixa os teus preconceitos na fotografias! Uma experiência multicultural única que acontece na Turquia e que reune 36 participantes de seis países distintos. Workshops, jogos, representações ao longo de sete dias com o objetivo principal de motivar os participantes a dialogar sobre os seu projetos e sobre as diferenças culturais.
Objectivos:
With this youth Exchange, we want to examine culture and its elements such as Stereotypes through the Photographs.The programme will consist of workshops, lectures, group works,cultural tours and exercises linked to Intercultural Learning.
Aims and objectives of our project are:
- To create awareness in public on stereotypes and prejudices among young people in Europe
- To support the development of youth workers and youth leaders by extending their competencies to integrate elements of intercultural learning within their projects
- To develop a mutual understanding between young europeans to fight against prejudices
- To promote and facilitate the active use of YIA programmes
- To explore local cultures and its dimensions by practising and living in the same environment
- To prepare the field for future collaborations including projects with a local impact, or within the frame of European Youth Programmes
- To let young people find out importance of their own cultural values
- To be aware of the reasons of creating stereotypes and prejudices and to learn how to deal with them.
Perfil: Successful participants are expected to:
- Have some basic knowledge and/or experience of youth work
- Motivated to work directly with young people on issues related to culture
- Be able to attend the full duration of the exchange
- Between 18 – 25 years old
- Energetic and cheerful, creative!
Descrição: LET YOUR PREJUDICES REMAIN IN THE PHOTOS is a 7 days exchange in Bodrum (Turkey) which will gather 36 young people from 6 different countries who are actively involved in youth work in Europe by extending knowledge and competences to integrate Intercultural learning and dialogue within projects.
Our exchange will be non-formal learning. It means that learning is based on your experience, your motivation and your needs. During the exchange Non-formal education methods and methods that assure balance between theory and practice will be used such as presentations, group works, workshops, games, role plays, exercises etc.
